Lego Star Wars Toys R us May 3rd Build day

When Wolf was three he started to watch Thomas the Train and like many other little boys he loved Thomas and trains in general. I of course being the overindulgent dad that I am searched far and wide for things that fit in his current likes. Luckily enough one of the best things around happened to be local. In Torrance at Charles Wilson Park is the location of the Southern Calif Live Steamers club. It’s a 1 mile run of 7.25 scale train that takes visitors from one end of the park to the other and back again. It really is an awesome ride and the kids love it. I have lived in the Southbay nearly my whole life and was unaware of this treasure till Wolfie came along.

Since then we have gone on many rides and even took Brown Bear on it for his weekend with us.

You can climb aboard for a ride the first Sunday and the third Saturday of each month.

We will probably be attending this weekend and hope some of Wolfie’s classmates and friends are also able to attend.

Lowe’s Monster Truck Build Saturday March 14th

This Saturday March 14th at 10am Wolfgang and his family will be at Lowe’s in Torrance on Skypark Drive for a Build and Grow featuring a Monster Truck build.

Kids receive an apron and goggles as well as a Monster Truck they get to build out of wood.

Come join us, it’s a lot of fun and completely FREE!
Don’t worry about registration, you just need to show up.

We have been going for a few months and it is really fun. Boys and girls both learn to build simple projects using hammers, nails, screws and stickers.

We are Wolfgang’s parents and we put together this site to help Wolfie’s classmates and their parents see some of the things we do and hopefully even come join us. Most all of the things we will talk about are things that are local to us and probably not very expensive either, hint, I love a great deal!

Wolfie is really into Lego and we try to go to all the Lego events we can find. There are a few activities a month that we regularly attend and others that spring up.

We also enjoy doing the Home Depot Kids Build and Lowe’s Build & Grow events. Those are a lot of fun and Wolfie has built a lot of great projects and we hope some of his classmates will be able to make it to some of them as well.

We also enjoy going to the park and Anderson Park in Redondo is our favorite.

Charles Wilson Park in Torrance has an awesome Train Ride that you have to see to believe.

I also will be adding videos and even apps to the list of things that you may find helpful.
