BricksLA opens this weekend at the Pasadena Convention Center.
Lego’s are not just for kids and they call them selves AFOL’s (Adult Fans of Lego, pronounced ‘A Fole’), and BricksLA is the first AFOL convention to hit the Los Angeles area. Don’t worry they’ll also have a kids’ play area full of loose brick, a LEGO Movie cardboard standup for photo ops, as well as your usual assortment of vendors selling new and vintage LEGO sets. The doors to the public will open from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday May 16th and 10:00am to 5:00pm on Sunday May 17th. Admission is just $5 with free admission for kids 12 and under.
The Pasadena Convention Center is located at 300 E Green St, Pasadena, CA 91101. There is limited parking at the center with additional parking available at the Paseo Colorado mall.
